  • publish content that is defamatory, objectionable, hateful, harassing, discriminatory, misleading or deceptive;
  • distribute malware, phishing, spam or unsolicited bulk messages;
  • attempt unauthorised access to, or testing of, any system or account, including MAITS's systems;
  • interfere with, overload or disrupt the services or other customers;
  • operate gambling, adult, weapons, unlicensed financial or regulated services without the required licences and MAITS's written consent;
  • impersonate any person or organisation; or
  • collect personal information without a lawful basis and proper notice.

3. AI-assisted features

3.1 AI features use Microsoft Azure OpenAI. Prompts and outputs may be processed outside New Zealand and Australia.

3.2 Users must not submit:

  • confidential information they are not permitted to share.

3.3 AI output may be inaccurate. The Customer must review it before it is used or published, and is responsible for content it publishes.

3.4 AI features must not be used to produce unlawful, deceptive or harmful content, or to bypass safety controls.

4. Security

4.1 Customers must keep sign-in methods secure, grant access only to people who need it, and tell MAITS promptly about any suspected unauthorised access.

5. Enforcement

5.1 MAITS may remove content, restrict features, suspend services or terminate an Order if this policy is breached. Where practicable, MAITS will give notice and an opportunity to remedy the breach first. MAITS may report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities.
